Laana was born as the eldest daughter of Kovu and Kiara, younger sister Sharifu. He has younger siblings, Zamaradi and Kahawia, from the same litter. Very similar to grandma, Zira, but only with appearance. He is nice, sarcastic and feisty, but also very loyal to the family. She's it gets along well with grandpa Simba and love listening to tales of ancient rulers. When her cousins, Sawa and Uchungu were attacked by a group of African wild dogs, she discovered the power of the oldest Roar and became the new leader of the Lion Guard. Her band includes Haraka (son of Fuli, the fastest), Amara (daughter of Bunga, the bravest), Jicho (hobby, the keenest of sight ) and Kikosi (female Elephant, the strongest). She never had a partner and children because she was not interested in such things.
